Production support in Belgium
Industrial solutions for Belgian production
OCEANSTAR INDUSTRIES BV supports manufacturing operations with production support, engineering coordination, quality routines and automation support — work that happens on a schedule, with a record, and with someone accountable when it does not.
Discuss a production requirementWhat we actually do
Support work that runs alongside your line
The work we take on is operational rather than advisory. A production plan exists, a supplier owes a date, a change gets agreed in a meeting and has to reach the paperwork as well as the machine. Those tasks need to happen on a schedule, with a record, and with a named person answerable when they slip. That is the scope we staff.
Operating scope
Five disciplines, one schedule
Most engagements start with one of these five and grow only when the reporting rhythm holds. We would rather decline a scope than accept one we cannot staff properly.
See supply chain and logisticsProduction support
Supplier follow-up, scheduling for repetitive and project runs, floor documentation that matches what is happening.
Engineering coordination
Reconciling the client's engineers, the equipment supplier and the integrator onto one plan, and tracking change.
Quality routines
Incoming checks, in-process records and outbound verification that happens before goods leave, not after a complaint.
Automation support
Defining data flows and handover records so a project closes properly instead of leaving loose ends for the plant.
Industrial packaging and handling
Transport frames, protection against handling damage and a loading sequence that matches the transport plan — technical work, not a wrapping exercise. A packaging specification decided late tends to mean a shipment delayed where delay costs most.
Production support
The coordination around a running line
Packaging materials staged before a loading sequence is fixed.
Production support covers the coordination around a running line. That means supplier and sub-supplier follow-up against agreed dates, scheduling support for both repetitive and project-based runs, and documentation that reflects what is actually happening on the floor.
When an engineering change is agreed, it has to reach the paperwork as well as the machine. We handle that follow-through so the plant team is not doing it at the end of a shift, when attention is lowest and the cost of a missed revision is highest.
Supplier and sub-supplier follow-up
Tracked against the dates we agreed, not the dates that were hoped for
Scheduling for repetitive and project runs
One plan the line and the project both work from
Floor documentation kept current
Revisions reach the record as well as the machine
Loading and transport sequencing
Sequence set against the transport plan, before the truck arrives
Engineering coordination
Keeping several parties on the same plan
Engineering coordination is the discipline of keeping multiple parties working from the same plan. On a typical project that means the client's engineers, an equipment supplier, possibly an integrator, and whoever handles compliance. Each has their own version of the sequence. Our role is to reconcile them, track changes and make sure a decision taken in one meeting is reflected in the next.
We do not replace design authority. The engineer who signs the drawing still signs the drawing. What changes is that the decisions, the change history and the open questions live in one place instead of five inboxes.
Installation sequence reviewed on site before the change is signed off.
Reconcile the sequence
One agreed order of works, shared with every party, instead of parallel versions that quietly disagree.
Track the change
A decision taken in one meeting appears in the next, with a note of who asked for it and what it affects.
Hold the boundary
Coordination does not mean taking over the design. Sign-off stays with the party responsible for it.
Quality assurance routines
A routine, not an event
Quality assurance works when it is a routine and fails when it is an event. Incoming materials get checked against specification, in-process points get recorded, and outbound verification happens before goods leave rather than after a complaint. Deviations are logged with a reason, because a deviation with a reason is a decision and a deviation without one is a question nobody can answer later.
For clients in food, pharmaceutical production or advanced manufacturing, that log is often what a customer audit asks for first. Building it as the work happens costs far less than reconstructing it the week before an audit.
Where the record comes from
- Incoming material checked against the agreed specification
- In-process points recorded as the run happens
- Outbound verification before dispatch, not after a claim
- Deviations logged with the reason and the responsible party
Automation and digitalisation
Closing a project properly
Automation projects in Belgium increasingly run alongside digitalisation work, and the two create coordination load. Equipment arrives, data flows need defining, and handover records have to be usable by the maintenance team afterwards — by people who were not in the room when the decision was made.
We support that coordination so the project closes properly instead of leaving loose ends for the plant to absorb. In practice that means agreeing what the maintenance team will receive, in what form, and testing that it is actually usable before the supplier leaves site.

Corporate solutionsSector expectations
The requirement is set at order level
Belgian manufacturers operate under different rules depending on what they produce. We apply the requirement at order level so that a general policy never overrides a specific one — a hygiene rule that makes sense for one line can be the wrong instruction on another.
Food and beverage
Hygiene and traceability requirements shape how materials move, how they are staged and what gets recorded at each handover.
Pharmaceutical production
Documentation and validation expectations are stricter. The record is part of the product, so it is built as the work happens.
Advanced manufacturing
Driven by specification precision and delivery reliability, where a tolerance discussion matters more than a general policy statement.
What we turn down
Scopes we cannot staff with the right people on the agreed rhythm. Accepting work we cannot cover properly costs the client more than a straight no at the start.
Getting started
One defined scope first
Most engagements begin with one production line, one procurement category or one logistics flow. We review what exists, agree what changes, and set the review rhythm before committing to volume.

Can you cover this scope?
Usually we can tell you after one conversation about the line, the category or the flow involved. If it is outside what we can staff properly, we say so at that point rather than after a quotation.
What does the working rhythm look like?
It is set with you before volume is committed: how often we review, what gets reported, and who on your side receives it. A rhythm that does not match your shift pattern stops working in the second month.
Who is accountable when something slips?
A named person, agreed when the scope is agreed. When a date moves, the reason is recorded and the affected parties are told directly instead of finding out at the next review.
How is the work reported?
Against the agreed dates and the agreed records. The format is decided with you at the start, so the report answers the question you actually have rather than the one that is easiest to produce.
Does this replace our own engineering team?
No. Coordination is not design authority. Your engineers keep sign-off on the technical decisions; what we take on is the follow-through, the change tracking and the record around them.
